Roundabout Theatre company is wonderful. Because they choose good shows and do good productions. And they always manage to get these actors who seem to have been in EVERYTHING for their lead roles. Which is very cool when you have someone like the guy from Masterpiece Theater playing Andrew Undershaft in Major Barbara.

I get to play New York City Tour Guide this weekend to a friend from Minneapolis... so I guess my "payment" for giving a tour of NYU and answering a bunch of questions was dinner and a show, and the show was Major Barbara. Since it's closing in a week, I was very very very glad to see it. Especially since I have infinite love for Shaw and his wit. Plus, it was fun to see it with a New York audience, because New Yorkers "get" a lot more of his jokes than the audience from Minnesota tend to. Just because his wit is very subtle and biting and Minnesotan humor is, well, not.

But. Suffice it to say that the production was fabulous and I enjoyed myself immensely.

And I have to kick my ethernet and talk to Seton later to ask him if he wants to go out for ice cream tomorrow afternoon.
