She got robbed. Really really robbed. Of course, so did A Class Act and 42nd Street. I mean, I agree with some of the awards for The Producers. Nathan Lane deserves a Tony, and so did any of the people who were nominated for Best Featured Actor. But the show as a whole, though entertaining, was not as incredible as some of the other nominees. It was not worth of 12 Tony awards -- it doesn't do something that fundamentally changes theatre, that brings something Brand New to Broadway.

Of course, I am a bit biased.

I went Swing Dancing last night. I had a good time... met people, all that good stuff. Although. Vaughn and Delvin did not show up, so I will have to chide them about that because they had said they were going to go and then I was left there all by myself. But I met people and hung around with them and got asked to dance by a bunch of little old guys which was cute. Plus I got to do the Shim Sham Shimmy. (Ah, I love knowing old songs and dances... even if it somewhat scares people around me. lol.)

Oh, and I started work today. Not my job at Express, but I started my internship, which is pretty cool. I got to use high tech pipettes, which are much much MUCH nicer than the evil things I used in the lab this past year for chemistry. But. It is lab experience and I am happy to be there and happy to be learning... and most of it went very well... except for the part about pulling the comb out of the gel. That was not fun and did not go well. But, it's not a perfect world, I guess.
