I'm sorry I tied you up in that burlap sack

Me too. Being tied up is really no fun. Take my word for it. ;-)

I didn't write at all about my day yesterday. Shame on me. Yesterday was interesting. My playwriting teacher told me that my writing is very ambitious in the ideas that it approaches (which of course I never mean it to be... I just write like I am and that writing ends up being something that examines the world around me and asks questions because it is my nature to ask questions. Or else it's because I'm supposed to always be thinking about something profound for Writing Sweatshop and I can't get out of that mindset at the moment.) and he thought I was 21 when I'm 18. That makes me happy. I almost always come accross as older than I am, which I imagine works to my advantage most of the time. :-)

I saw Jane Eyre again last night. I love that musical so very very much. My friend that I dragged along loved it too (which makes me very happy because it means I can theoretically drag her along again in the future). It was also fun to get looks of "weren't you just here?" from the cast people that I talked to Friday when I went to the stage door again last night. Mary and Marla are some of the sweetest people ever. Especially Mary. hehehe. Buntrock ignored me. I will have to speak to him about that next time I go. But he did look like he was in a hurry to get somewhere.

Today I went to see Twyla Tharp courtesy of NYU (I love the scholars program. Sit through a few boring lectures and I get free tickets to all sorts of fun events). It was really neat... plus, she was there to answer some questions afterwards. I've decided that I really like her choreography style -- although I preferred the Mozart clarinet quintet piece to the second piece which was entitled "Surfer on the River Styx." Both were excellent and interesting, though... they made me want to return to my choreography and work on dances and all of that. I need that kind of drive and revival in my life.

I am going to be a good girl and go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. Because I haven't in a while... and I feel like I am starting to get sick or something (which is of course why I am eating oreos, which are SOOO good for me...) and that must be avoided. I am having an eye exam and seeing Proof on Friday. This was bad planning on my part... but it will all work out one way or another. I do need my eyes checked -- I haven't gone in over a year and my current glasses are giving me headaches, so it's probably time for me to get new ones. I do hate the eye doctor though.

The class average on my chem exam from last Friday was 50. EEEK!
