t-minus... 3 days, and counting...

location: my living room.
mood: gratefulgrateful

In three days, I will file my thesis. And the insane stress that has made me nauseous and insomniac and stressed and probably impossible to be around for the last several weeks will end.

So far, I have an introduction that I am mostly happy with (one change to make, read a couple papers, stick 'em in, good to go), a methods section that I am 75% happy with, a results section that I am mostly happy with and a discussion section and works cited list that need to be written.

Oh and there's formatting and printing and so on.

But, um, it's getting there. And funnily, now that I have this much done, everyone is telling me how surprised they are that I finished this experiment... and how pleased they are that I pulled it together. I am too.

Also very, very grateful to have a life full of supportive, wonderful people and to know at least a few kindred spirits. I feel very blessed.

Also, I get to go to bed at 3:15! This is the earliest bedtime I've had in quite a few days! (And no, I don't mean early in the sense of early in the morning... bedtimes/sleeptimes recently have been ... past dawn...)

good job! and don't forget that your definition of 75% happy=everybody else's definition of nearly perfect.

I got to the point where I realized it was better to have a thesis that was finished than one that I was thrilled with! I still have some lame formatting to deal with though. Are you walking on Saturday?
