It's so hot in here. Or I'm hot or my clothes are or something... it makes me want to just sit around naked in my dorm room (which I would do except for the thought of somebody else walking in and wondering what on earth I was doing... well that and the odd comments I would get here with strong sexual connotations or implications if I said "Hi, I'm sitting naked at my computer" because nobody really wants to know that) listening to music and having the air conditioner on as high as it will go. But I think I'll dispense with the nakedness part.

I have oddly acquired a deep reddish purple bruise under my left knee. I wonder how I did that.

Back to Virginia Woolf. Barf.

residence as a nudist colony

I've had the same urges multiple times. My side of the house is the heated one, which means that it has all the heat for the house, which is specifically concentrated in my room. It's like a sauna. I wear as minimal clothes as I can, without being naked. I've thought about nudity, many times. There should be nudist dorms. Mind you that would be rather negative if it were co-ed and one of the males were attracted to one of the females; simply because it would be quite obvious every time they passed one another, naked in the hall. Ho-hum. Nudist single sex dorms baby. :)

Although if you had nudist dorms, those surprise fire alarms would be really annoying... (moreso than they already are even... well I don't know about your dorm, but mine really likes to have fire drills at 3 and 6 in the morning. Sometimes in the same night. which means I've been out in the streets of New York City in my pajamas more than once. hehe.) especially in the middle of the night. :-)

Hmm... 2 years ago we had that problem a lot. People cooking in the basement while everyone's asleep and setting something on fire and causing an alarm, or people tripping and knocking the alarms or just generally oversensitivity of the sprinkler system. The 6-7 AM ones are the worst. Nothing quite like being outside in just a towel, with shampoo still in your hair, in January. Hah!
