After the Game...

Vikings losses have a way of being heartbreaking. So some letters following today's debacle.

Dear Vikings Offense:

Why, exactly, with a win in sight and the division championship on the line did you decide to play sloppily and get yourself 15 yards of penalties?

Dear Vikings Defense:

Was your Interception-TD truly a fluke or are you just too lazy to show up and actually play the game?

Dear Mike Tice:

3rd down and 25 and you call a RUNNING PLAY? What is wrong with you?

Dear Red McCombs (or whoever is in charge of firing and hiring coaches for the Vikings):

Please fire Mike Tice. He was a lousy offensive coordinator, a lousy assistant coach and an even lousier head coach. An offense as talented as the one you have should not be losing games the way they did today. How do you fail to see that his play calling is terrible, his strategy is terrible (yes. the offense can make big plays. yes, they're fun to watch. however. a few plays in the interim that give you more control over the clock wouldn't hurt.) and he can't seem to get the team to keep their heads in the game from play to play let alone start to finish. Oh, and you might want to consider investing in the defense a little more.

I vaguely remember a play, with inches to the goal, where the QB called a pass. Maybe they were trying to catch them unawares?
