mood: stressedstressed
music: culture beat - Rythym Is a Dancer

I have an orgo exam tomorrow and I don't want to study. So I am procrastinating instead.

WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND YOUR LJ USERNAME?
Stellae is Latin for "stars" -- at the time that I started this journal I was still in love with the Latin language and with a song called "Stars and the Moon"

HAVE YOU EVER HAD A MAKEOVER?
Yeah, a couple actually. Not full ones, but makeup ones. I usually end up buying something, and then using it in a totally different way than they showed me how to do.

HAVE YOU EVER WITNESSED DEATH?
Have I been in the room when someone has died, no. But I've had plenty of people in my life die... and plenty of threats of it.

WHAT'S THE LONGEST TIME YOU'VE STAYED OUT OF THE COUNTRY/WHERE?
A month. Italy and Paris... it is one of the best memories of my life.

ONE THING YOU'RE GRATEFUL FOR, TODAY.
The wonderful people in my life

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HIGH SCHOOL MEMORY?
Cast parties.

WHAT IS THE MOST INSANE THING YOU'VE DONE FOR/TO YOUR LOVE?
I really haven't done anything insane... Except maybe falling in puppy love with a guy who was totally playing me.

DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM WEDDING.
Not going there right now. But it will be beautiful and have lots of dancing.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE DOING WHEN YOU ARE 60?
Ballroom dancing, among other things.

WHAT IS YOUR FIRST MEMORY?
This sounds so trite, but I don't remember what is my very first memory. I have lots of little kid memories from being 3 or so that have been dated by scrapbooks, but I don't know which is my absolute FIRST MEMORY.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE QUOTE?
I used to but now, no. I'm too tired to think of one.

MY FIRST HEARTBREAK HAPPENED WHEN I WAS...
When I moved away from Texas and all of my best friends, and then my new best friend in Minnesota moved away just a year after we became close. Romantically speaking... probably Jerrod, despite that we only dated for 3 weeks

HOW MUCH MONEY DOES IT TAKE TO KEEP YOU FOR A YEAR?
If you're asking what my annual budget is, then it's none of your business. If you're asking in a dating sense or whatever... money is not what would keep me in someone's arms.

DO YOU HAVE ANY WEIRD PREFERENCES?
I like the standard dances better than the latin dances in the world of competitive ballroom.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE OPPOSITE SEX?
How they can say they love you and mean it and yet do totally stupid things that hurt you.

WHAT PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY DO YOU WANT MOST RIGHT NOW?
A flat screen monitor. And this really really lovely CD player that they have at Radio Shack.

NAME ONE TV CHARACTER YOU'D MOST WANT TO BE.
I really wouldn't want to be a TV character..

FAVORITE GEMSTONE?
Diamonds. But I also love tanzanite, aquamarine, blue zircon, sapphire amethyst and ruby.

WHAT'S YOUR WORST FLAW?
I'm a perfectionist.

WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO DO THIS SUMMER?
Recover from the hell known as last semester.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG RIGHT NOW?
I really don't have one... most recent is either "Fly Me to the Moon" or "I'm Beginning to See the Light"

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE MOVIES IN THESE CATEGORIES: HUMOR, ROMANCE, DRAMA, ACTION, HORROR?
humor: lilo & stitch, MIIB, Shrek
romance: serendipity, notting hill, roberta (Fred&Ginger version), moulin rouge
drama: can't think of one at the moment...
action: star wars
horror: eeewww.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY SONG?
Friend Like Me... either that or Under the Sea. And the ever popular Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM HOUSE.
A townhouse in Manhattan overlooking central park. Preferably with a balcony on a higher floor with lots of rose bushes and perhaps a small fountain/japanese pond with waterlilies and goldfish.

YOUR TYPICAL SLEEPWEAR:
t-shirt or tank top and pajama pants or shorts

WHAT'S IN YOUR BAG?
wallet, keys, cell phone, bible, songbook, random paper and change, and that's about it.

HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR WALLET RIGHT NOW?
hmmm. $147 plus a check that needs to be deposited.

WHAT'S YOUR NEXT CHARACTER CONCEPT?
You know, I'm really done with the whole trying on personalities thing. Though I might return to playwriting one day.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF IN YOUR LIFE?
Moving to New York and finding myself and my own way.

HOW WAS YOUR SENIOR PROM?
Horrible. Our group was way too big -- we went in a double-decker bus instead of a limo, I went with a guy I didn't even like and spent half the evening trying to avoid him and being embarrassed by his headbanging.

TELL US ABOUT ANY OF YOUR BIRTHDAYS.
When I was like 5 or 6, I had this fantastic birthday party that was all strawberry shortcake themed... my mom made this cake that looked exactly like the strawberry shortcake house and we had a pinata and everything. We even made up games that were Strawberry Shortcake themed. It was one of my best birthdays ever. :-)

WHAT DO YOU MOST ENJOY ABOUT LOOKING AT OTHER PEOPLE?
How everybody looks different and the same all at once.

WHAT ARE THE FIRST FIVE THINGS YOU WOULD SPLURGE ON IF YOU WERE A BILLIONAIRE?
A townhouse in Manhattan, lake property somewhere nice -- the poconos maybe, a trip to Europe with some of my friends, A carribbean cruise and A gorgeous couture ballroom dance ballgown.

WHAT IS YOUR DAILY BEFORE-GOING-TO-BED RITUAL?
have a snack, see who's online, put up away message, check lj friends, check email.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PAIR OF SHOES?
my skechers.

WOULD YOU RATHER BE A HOBBIT, AN ELF OR A DWARF?
an elf. I think they are beautiful and wonderful creatures.

WRITE A LINE FROM ANY SONG.
Nothing about us was perfect or clear,
But when paradise calls me I'd rather be here
There's something between us that nobody else needs to see
There were oceans to cross, there were mountains to conquer
And I stood on the shore, and I stood on the cliff
And the second before I jumped, I knew where I needed to be

I know I fell too far, but here you are.
-- "I'd Give It All for You" - Songs for a New World

Okay, now back to the studies.
